This page contains links, hopefully useful ones, for people tracing their family tree.

Some general family tree links that I have found....

1) GenDocs - Genealogical research in England and Wales
2) 1901 Census the official 1901 Census website, Search over 400 million people living in England and Wales between 1841-1901 and view images of the original documents
3) Welsh and English census information for 1911. The site is used by genealogists, family historians, one name researchers and anyone wanting to know more about their Welsh & English ancestors in 1901. It can also be used to research hamlets, villages and parishes to build a historical perspective.
4) Public Records Office National Archives The National Archives has one of the largest archival collections in the world, spanning 1000 years of British history, from Domesday Book to government papers recently released to the public
5) Society Of Genealogists (UK) The Society of Genealogists offers a unique combination of research material, guidance and support for those interested in family history and the lives of earlier generations.
6) FamilyRecords.gov.uk (now closed) This site, provided by the FamilyRecords.gov.uk consortium, aims to help you find the government records and other sources you need for your family history research.
7) Family Research Link On this site you will find an entire copy of the indexes of Births, Marriages and Deaths for England and Wales from 1837 to 2001. These images are available to search, view (including zooming in on those awkward-to-read names), save to disk and print
8) GENUKI The aim of GENUKI is to serve as a "virtual reference library" of genealogical information that is of particular relevance to the UK & Ireland. It is a noncommercial service, provided by an ever-growing group of volunteers
9) Cyndi's List of Genealogy Sites on the Internet More than 203,900 links! (which can make rather difficult to find the one you are looking for!)
10) Genes Reunited Census results, births, deaths and marriages
11) Census records 1841 - 1911 Census records for England and Wales from 1841 to 1911 are available online.
